Cheryl is a licenced Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner in the province of Ontario and has been working in healthcare for over 25 years. She is trained and certified in advanced hormone optimization by Dr. Neal Rouzier of World Link Medical in the USA, and is trained and certified in the management and treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury by Dr. Mark Gordon of Millennium Health in the USA. ROOT CAUSE MEDICAL is a member of the Millennium Health TBI network.
Cheryl completed her BScN at Laurentian University, her MScN at the University of Ottawa where her graduate research focused on violence against health care workers specific to visitors towards staff. Her post graduate PHC-NP was also completed at the University of Ottawa. Her clinical background is diverse, which allows her to provide quality patient care.
She was worked in various medical settings including Cardiac ICU, ICU, Cardiac Medicine, Public Health and LTC. She is dedicated to continuing her education to maintain knowledge for an evidence-based practice in BHRT and chronic/autoimmune disease management.
